Deuteronomy 8

What we see in this chapter is that punishment for some, are tests for building up other people. God wants to know that we trust Him, love Him and obey Him.

God doesn't withhold things to punish us, sometimes we're not ready. Like when they were leaving Egypt, God didn't take them straight to the promised land because they had some growing to do, some maturity and faithfulness and obedience to develop in the desert.

If you're in a desert, practice obedience to God. Stay faithful, stay humble, and live a life worthy of what God has given you and what God may want to give you.
