California Is Trying the Failed Hooked on Phonics Crap Again to Raise Its Abysmal Reading Scores

California, instead of blaming the teachers and public schools for failing the kids in regards to reading comprehension, the Democrats and teachers are blaming the same system we have used for centuries in the US that led to high levels of literacy and in part led to our education system once being the envy the world over and replicated around it. And of course with their doing that, they want to toss it aside and being back the whole Hooked on Phonics fad that led to Millennials being unable to spell if their lives depended on it and their lack of comprehending English above an elementary school level.

In this video, we take a look at the media trying to paint Hooked on Phonics as the solution to California’s illiteracy problems caused by their own teachers and parents not wanting to actually teach their kids how to read properly.
