Why Will There Be Sacrifices in the New Temple?

I know that this sounds pretty incredulous … but let’s take a look at what the Bible has recorded and prophesied and see if it’s real or not!

The Old Testament Prophetic Book of Ezekiel in Chapters 40 through 48 describes a Temple in the future where sacrifices will – once again - be offered up.

Active participation in the Feast of Tabernacles will be required for All Nations (according to Zechariah Chapter 14 verses 16 through 19), showing that Symbolic Rituals will still have significance in the Millennium.

They Will Be for Functional Temple for Worship, But Not Atonement
Ezekiel’s Temple (in the Millennium) differs significantly from the Old Testament Temple:

There is no mention of a veil because access to God is now open – as revealed in Matthew Chapter 27 verse 51.

There is no Ark of the Covenant since Christ’s Presence will be the focus.
Sacrifices and Offerings are not explicitly tied to Atonement but could serve a different purpose—possibly one of Thanksgiving and Worship rather than Sin Payment.
