Many argue that Jesus was referring to His transfiguration which was 6 days later. This is absurd since all of His disciples were alive at the time. Others say that it was Pentecost. Still absurd since all but Judas were still alive. Read the verse carefully. Only "some" would remain until they "see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."
“Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” (Mt 16:28)
At what event were "some" or a few or even one still alive? It had to have been within a generation...
