Street Stocks at I-55

A National career race at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is smooth with the very bottom being a little slick for Practice, but good after that. This track feels a bit narrow, but maneuverability around traffic is good. The track does get slick above the bottom to the cushion after Qualifying, but does retain speed. Early in the night the low line is fastest and after the Heats the middle is very comparable. If you run the top, watch the entrance into turn 1 as the wall does come out a little early.

A good caution free race. I rubbed 1 car while navigating traffic, but barely noticeable. I did get into the wall a couple times while trying to run the top and decided to give up that idea. Overall though the race was clean with great traffic navigation.
