This rough animatic was created with crude miniatures and props in order to help Peter Jackson visualize the Flooding of Isengard sequence. It demonstrates how very simple filmmaking tools can be used to design a spectacular visual effects sequence.

This animatic is presented in two ways: the full length version that was originally presented to Peter Jackson and a comparison of the animatic to the final film.
