The ultimate aim of the ZIOPIGS is to break off the friendship between Germans and Russians. The ZIOPIGS wanted Germans and Russians to be forever enemies, period!! They have tried so hard to break Putin and Xi friendship let's see will they succeed this time because recently so many videos said that Chinese defector went to Russia to expose Xi wanted to take or plotting to take the whole of Siberia... something like that...

The future of the globe is dependent on the continuing close cooperative relationship between Russia and China. It must remain stable as the ongoing decline of the west continues.

It's very important for the whole world that the strategic partnership between Russia and China continues to develop and succeed. Only these two countries acting together can defeat the depredations of the beast.

Because they are genuine friends?

No idea why Washington thought they could pull off a Sino- Soviet split in 2025 after the shock doctrine we pulled in Russia after the USSR ended

As long as Putin is the Russia leader, there is no worry. Putin is strategically very smart and a reliable leader. The problem might arise with a new leader.

Hitler: You can't win a war against Russia.
Merz: Why?
Hitler: Because we already tried and it didn't end well for us.

Allowing thousands to die whilst they figure a way to save face, despicable.

I'm from Italy, and I've also gotten many European friends who fail to accept a different reality than what their "doctor" prescribed them

You're correct, the USD is paramount. The ability to print USD and have it recognized as money is essential.
Nothing new here, empires have expired after debt was overwhelming and they lost their currency value versus gold.

Trump stated that maintaining dollar hegemony was the most important job of the president. He said straight up that America losing the dollar standard would be like America losing a major world war.

The Ukraine war is brutal for the US to close down because its position of influence has weakened. The two involved countries don't want to stop either. It has yielded somewhat to the EU, as Trump claimed to withdraw from NATO's responsibility. The 21st-century war is hard to stop, as many countries have influence in it, thus called proxy wars, like too many cooks in the Kitchen. Trump can't use US military directly, as was the case in Iraq, for various reasons. The US dollar advantage argument is weak due to its longer, slower effect. Trump owes the MAGA voters to close down the war; he looks weak at this point, and he doesn't really care about long-term advantages or disadvantages. Looking good and saving face is his primary concern. Spending borrowed money in the US is not popular after two other forever wars, and among Republicans.

As a European I find it almost obvious that chine cannot afford to have Russia defeated in Ukraine and maybe in that scenario even risk having NATO at it's more than 4,000 Km northern border with Russia. I'm sure that wouldn't be a pleasant experience.

What is the "power" of a fiat currency? A reserve currency facilitates international trade. A reserve currency can be used as a store of value. What else is it used for???
If this "power" you speak of means using the financial system to bully other countries, to sanction them, to steal their assets, to force them to forsake their sovereignty and adhere to another country's foreign policies, then it is not power—it is abuse of the reserve currency.

3:00 IMO above the weakness of the USD, the US biggest problem has been its self-drive to financialized market (deindustrialization, "globalism", disparaged rise of cost of life, housing bubble): it gave it success for some time but not anymore. Trump is reacting to that with tariffs but it's a case of "too simplistic, too late" (Capitalism, oligarchism, impedes the radical socialist steps needed to actually set the country back on its feet). It could have reformed in 2008 but didn't.
6:20 Ukraine war was definitely designed as with double objectives: weaken Russia but very especially force Europe into quasi-colonial status re. the USA. That's very clear to me, but not to our treacherous corrupt European "leaders" apparently. :(
However, the Yugoslav wars (1990s) pre-date the €uro (1999 onwards). There was no real "hostility" between the USA and the EU before the sub-prime crisis of 2007-08, when the USA forced Europe to pay for it (and forfeited its own recovery by bailing out the TBTF banks and keeping the housing bubble snowball rolling), the €uro was complementary to the USD and kept to present day at near-parity.
Yugoslav wars were mostly favored by Germany rather than the Anglos, as part of their Östpolitik. The Anglos just rolled with it, not without initial reluctance (but with a great deal of indifference anyhow).
Yugoslavia had a problem of loss of geostrategical relevance after 1990, that's what a Montenegrin politician told us (citing a US embassy friend of him):
-- Your country has lost its geostrategical relevance.
-- I'm glad to hear that.
-- I wouldn't be glad if my country lost its geostrategical relevance.
Months later the war broke out.

The military, dollar, ideology. The US military does not act like a military. When it does get involved in it’s belligerent & proxy & terrorist hires & letter agencies operations, it does so distancing itself in the extreme. When that extreme distancing gets trespassed it retreats. To let chips, fall where they may. It does not itself proceed in its stated goals and along its front lines irreversibly toward its enemies, itself. The dollar, the ideology, behave similarly. These three are not risk averse so much as risk reverse!

I guess what I don't get is why the non US countries don't just say we have had enuf of this manipulating maneuvering for the last 85 years. I mean look how many countries we have severely hurt over the past. Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, El Salvador, Chile, Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Yeomen, on and on and on...... I mean I begin to wonder if people aren't just masochistic? Do we like the pain? The suffering? Or Sadist? Giving pain. I just don't know why people don't see why side their bread is butter on? I guess we will never see. I guess I have to learn to love seeing the pain. Otherwise I am masochistic. Wanting life to other than what it is.... But I love Richard's fresh insight!!!!
