Deuteronomy 9

In this chapter, Moses remings the people not to think of themselves as extremely righteous, deserving the land that God was giving them because of their good deeds, because they'd been disobedient.

Moses retells the story of the golden calf and how he fasted for the people, and how he interceded for the people after the golden calf, how the tablets were made, and how gracious God has been to them.
