🇺🇸📅 Eighteen years ago today, the world witnessed a war crime in broad daylight.

Two U.S. AH-64 Apache helicopters opened fire on unarmed Iraqi civilians and journalists, including Reuters reporters Namir Noor-Eldeen and Saeed Chmagh, in Baghdad, Iraq.

🔗 The chilling footage — leaked by WikiLeaks under the title “Collateral Murder” — shows U.S. troops laughing as they fire on people attempting to help the wounded.

➡️ Saeed Chmagh was executed while fleeing.

➡️ A civilian van arriving to evacuate survivors was targeted and destroyed.

➡️ Two children were later pulled from the wreckage — injured and bleeding.

🎥 This massacre was not just an accident. It was policy — a brutal display of impunity, later dismissed by the Pentagon.

📍 This is what occupation looks like.

This is what they call “freedom.”
