A Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta was forced to return to the departure airport due to an engine fire.,

The Boeing 767-400 took off from Los Angeles Airport when flames started shooting out of the left engine. After that, the plane circled and landed safely back.

One of the passengers noted that the flight was delayed due to technical checks. According to him, the plane was on takeoff longer than usual, then slowed down in the air and stopped gaining altitude.

The plane successfully returned to the airport, there were no injuries.
