All Things Spiritual-Faith Part 4
In Hebrews 11:24-25, Moses demonstrates his extraordinary faith by refusing to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter and choosing to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. This decision was a testament to his faith and the importance of being a "son of Abraham," the father of the faithful. Moses's faith was not only religious but rational, as he acted not only religiously but rationally, conquering the temptation of worldly pleasure. His choice reveals that gratification from sin is short-lived, pleasures often become pleasures of sin when they demand deserting God and His people. A true believer will despise such offerings and will endure suffering alongside God's people, united by a common purpose and divine Spirit.
