Don't Be "That Guy" at a Match. Here are the Unwritten Rules

If you're new to competitive shooting, understanding how squads work on match day is essential. Typically, competitors will squad up with their friends and take turns shooting a stage. During an active run, only the participant, the Range Officer (RO), and possibly the tablet operator are at the front of the stage. If you're not actively shooting or assisting, you need to be back and out of the way.

Once a participant finishes and the RO declares the range clear, it's everyone's responsibility to help reset the stage. This includes putting steel targets back up and pasting paper targets. You don't have to shoot perfectly, but everyone has to paste and reset. Just be safe, respectful, and ready to learn.
