Jesse Duplantis shocking preaching 2025 had him sharing how he was having a conversation with his deceased from Jerry Savelle. I thought I was mishearing Jesse and listen to the sermon a few times. Jesse Duplantis even confirmed he didn’t believe it and first and had to ask Jerry to confirm he was speaking with him. Jesse goes on to have a conversation with his dead friend. This lead to a much larger discussion about the Word of Faith movement started by Kenneth Hagin. The movement has turned into the prosperity Gospel and the message is trash. In this video we will cover how speaking with the dead is Necromancy and prohibited by scripture. We will talk about what is necromancy and why Christian people shouldn’t be engaged with it. We will also discuss the scripture Jesse Duplantis used in his sermon, Hebrews 12 was misused in his rationalization for his conversation with his dead friend Jerry Savelle. Necromancy is the practice of magic involving communication with the dead, often for divination or to gain knowledge. It can also involve raising the dead, either as spirits or in physical form, sometimes for sinister purposes. The term is sometimes used more broadly to encompass black magic or witchcraft in general. Necromancy is a new age practice that is associated with divination. Necromancy is prohibited by scripture: Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Galatians 5:20. I believe we should call Ichabod the modern day word of faith movement. The movement is off and will die in this generation.
