Super Easy Coconut Cookies Recipe By Spice Bite

Delicious homemade cookies with a soft center and a crispy coconut coating! Made with simple ingredients and baked to golden perfection—perfect for tea time or snacking anytime.

Ingredients :

-Powder sugar 1/2 cup
-Melted Butter 1/2 cup
-All purpose flour 1 cup ( ADJUST AS NEEDED)
-Baking Powder 1 tsp
-Pinch of salt
- Milk Powder 1/4 cup
-Desiccated Coconut 1 cup
-Milk 2 -4 tbsp as required

Direction for baking :

-Take a bowl add powder sugar , melted butter , whisk until mixture will be soft and fluffy.
-Sift in all-purpose flour, baking powder, milk powder, and salt , Mix everything gently.
-Now add desiccated coconut and milk powder ,Knead lightly until you get a soft dough. If the dough feels too dry, add 1–2 tsp of milk (only if needed).
-Divide the dough into small balls and flatten slightly to form cookie shapes.
-Coat each cookie in desiccated coconut before baking. This gives the cookies a beautiful texture and a rich coconut taste on the outside!
-Preheat your oven to 160°C (340°F). Place cookies on a lined baking tray and bake for 15 -20 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges.
-Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack. They will firm up as they cool.
