Munson sees record numbers

Munson Medical Center in Traverse City recorded maybe its busiest week ever. Last Monday started with 193 people approaching the ER. For the week the hospital has been running close to capacity. Typically, there’s a 40 percent increase in traffic in the summer months compared to the off-season. The hospital is working to alleviate congestion with tele-med visits and offsite walk-in clinics.
