ISRAELI POLICE: 17 Illegal Entrants Discovered Hidden in Bus Near Anata, East of Jerusalem

In a targeted operation near Anata, just northeast of Jerusalem, Israeli Border Police officers from the Jerusalem Envelope Unit intercepted a bus attempting to smuggle 17 illegal entrants into Israeli territory.

Acting on intelligence provided by the Investigations and Intelligence Division of the Border Police, officers stopped the vehicle and conducted a search. They uncovered a false wall between the seats, where 17 individuals from Judea and Samaria were found hiding.

The bus driver, a man in his 20s from Jerusalem, had allegedly collected the entrants from within Judea and Samaria and concealed them inside the hidden compartment. He was arrested along with the 17 individuals.

All suspects were transferred for questioning by the Jerusalem Envelope Border Police Intelligence Division.
