Tel Aviv installation commemorates fallen Israeli soldiers

Eight hundred and ninety-three chairs have been placed along Tel Aviv's beach promenade, on each of them a photo of a fallen Israeli soldier, to commemorate those who were killed during and since the war began when Hamas-led militants stormed into Israel on October 7, 2023. Mother of fallen soldier Yakir Shmuel Tatlbaum, Marcy Tatelbaum, told Reuters that she hopes her son's sacrifice will allow the people of Israel to thrive.
