Paying Attention to Indie Comics: Bad Idea, Ghost Machine & More

In this video, I share my current thoughts on independent comic book publishers and why I’ve started paying more attention to them than I did in the past. I focus on my experience reading Planet Death #0 and looking forward to issue #1, as well as some upcoming titles from Bad Idea Comics that caught my interest in an article from FirstComicsNews.com. I also talk about how Ghost Machine Comics impressed me with the quality of their books, including Rook: Exodus, Geiger, and Rocketfellers, and why direct-to-consumer access is becoming more important as local comic shops don’t always carry indie titles.
