This is clip #2 of our ‘03 team who utilized the Princeton Offense. The team we were facing was an outstanding team, especially on the defensive end-of-the court. Our opposition employed an ultra-physical Packline man-to-man defense. Inside of their packline, it was basically hand-to-hand combat. However, they did not apply an inordinate amount of pressure on perimeter ball handlers. We knew that we’d have to achieve several reversals & do an impressive job of setting defenders up for backdoor cuts & our ball handlers would have to make exacting passes that led our cutters to the rim, if we were going to be able to score off backdoor cuts.
