Superman (2025)

After a brief hiatus, Brandon and I return with our take on the new Superman movie! This is the first feature film in the new DCU! This one is directed by Troma alum, James Gunn! (You thought I was gonna type MCU alum!) David Corenswet takes on the role of Superman/Clark Kent! Rachel Brosnahan is Lois Lane! Nicholas Hoult is Lex Luthor! Edi Gathegi is Mr. Terrific! Isabela Merced is Hawkgirl! Nathan Fillion is Guy Gardner! The Justice Gang is here! Metamorpho is here! Is it too many characters or is it just right? Hopefully, this is the start of something super...although we have been duped before!

Plot: Superman must reconcile his alien Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as reporter Clark Kent. As the embodiment of truth, justice, and the human way, he soon finds himself in a world that views these as old-fashioned.
