At least coffee 71, or Pele Mele
Well, I know that the correct term is Pêl Mêl, but I prefer the second part, i.e. "mele." Because it really fits a lot of today's politicians. They just grind and grind, and the result is zero, if not negative.
I'll start with the elections. Specifically, the part called postal voting, which is most susceptible to fraud. For one thing, the very principle of postal voting is unfair to the citizens of this republic, as it allows people to vote who have long since had no connection to this country other than the fact that they, or perhaps their parents, were born here. These people, who gather their information from various sources, currently mainly liberal socialist ones, cannot properly understand what is happening here.
But we already have this institution, so every political party will try to influence foreign voters to give their vote, if they are interested at all, to them and no one else because...
Even ANO was against it, but now that the institution is here, there is no reason not to use it. This is something that the strange parliamentary figure from TOP 09, a certain Neandr Jakob, does not understand. After all, if we look back into the past, their SPOLU partner ODS fought against the regions and the European Union in the past. And yet it participated, and very successfully at that, in both regional council elections and European Parliament elections. It did not boycott them, even though it was originally against them.
Evička Tričko Decroix began sweeping the bitcoin case under the rug. She chose former judge David Uhlíř as coordinator, who stated that he knows nothing about bitcoins, does not understand them, and, most importantly, that their mining creates a carbon footprint. In other words, qualifications at the highest level. And the audit will be conducted by Grant Thornton ČR. This is not the first contract for this company in a sensitive case. In the past, according to the media, Grant Thornton Advisory won an open tender for an in-depth audit related to the Dozimetr case. Ultimately, however, it turned out that the founding partner of Grant Thornton Advisory, which won the independent audit in the Dozimetr case, was David Pirner. He was also a sponsor of the Praha sobě movement, which was involved in the case along with other parties. But from Evička Tričko's point of view, that's perfectly fine. After all, there was probably no other option, because there was no great interest in this bitcoin contract.
The elections are approaching, so the old familiar evergreen called Čapí hnízdo is being played again. The Supreme Court has once again overturned the Municipal Court's ruling. However, the way in which it did so has severely damaged the already tarnished reputation of our judiciary. The Supreme Court does not have the power to convict anyone; it can confirm the ruling or return it with reservations. But it cannot secretly include its own ruling in those reservations. Here, the High Court did just that and indicated to the lower court how it should actually rule. Simply no further acquittal, but conviction. The opinion of the judge, who has studied the case in detail, is irrelevant. The assignment is clear. And to make matters more complicated, the judge herself does not know how to write her decision and has requested a postponement.
But we have another case called Dozimetr. Here, the results of the police investigation have been handed over to the court, but for mysterious reasons, the judges are avoiding the case. So conspicuously, in fact, that even Bitcoin Minister Blažek has publicly expressed his surprise. And when the trial date was finally set, it had to be postponed because part of the file was delayed somewhere at another court.
And finally, the Neruda case. No, this is not about the poet Jan or the writer Pablo. It is about their son Filip. By profession, he is the son of politician Danuše, mentally on the same level. Proof of this is his academic "success," or rather failure. He did not complete his third year, even after retaking his exams, so he has to repeat it. It is clear why he failed. He has to devote himself to slandering his mother's competitors, which is a very demanding activity. So demanding that he has no time left for his studies. A politician from the Stačilo! party noticed this, and her poking fun at Filip caused a huge stir. Especially from the party of Tetuše Danuše Blbuše. She even protested that it was not proper to involve children in politics. She had apparently forgotten that a few days before this revelation, she had also paraded her younger son at a political event. So once again, she only confirmed her lack of mental capacity. Some might even say that she showed how stupid she is. But I would never dare to say that.
