The rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza has triggered protests around the world.
There have even been demonstrations in Israel, calling for an end to the man-made starvation and a ceasefire.

Demonstrators in Tel Aviv held bags of flour - one of the basic food items that is in short supply in the strip.
They carried placards written in both Hebrew and Arabic, as well as pictures of malnourished Palestinian children.
Protesters are also demanding their government agree to a ceasefire with Hamas.

Menachem Klein is a Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Bar-Ilan University.
He says condemnation is not enough to stop the Israeli government from committing “genocide and starvation” in the Gaza Strip.
