'Thunderstorm' Drones Destroy Ukrainian Equipment and Troops in Kupyansk

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM – Russian drone attacks have again rocked the Kupyansk region and its surroundings.

In the latest attack, the "Thunderstorm Leska" FPV drone system belonging to Russia's "Western" group of forces is said to have destroyed a large amount of Ukrainian military equipment and personnel.

According to a report from a guard soldier from the 121st Regiment of the Russian 68th Division, the hunt for Ukrainian military vehicles and militants was carried out non-stop, both day and night.

"The destruction of the enemy was actively assisted by the fiber-optic FPV control system 'Thunderstorm Leska,'" reads an official statement posted on Telegram on Thursday (July 24, 2025).

There has been no official response from Ukraine regarding this incident. However, reports from the battlefield indicate increased air activity in the region in recent days.
