📖 Obadiah in <60 Seconds — You Stood By… and Did Nothing

They weren’t the enemy.
They were family — descendants of Esau, watching as Israel fell.

But instead of helping, Edom stood on the sidelines.
Mocked. Looted. Took advantage.

And God saw it all.

He said, “You stood by… while your brother bled.
You watched and did nothing.
But justice is coming.”

Sounds familiar?
A friend… a relative…
Someone you thought was in your corner —
But they celebrated your downfall.
Used your struggle as their stage.

And that stings like nothing else does.

But pride always comes before a fall.

Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament —
But its warning is loud:

When you see someone hurting — and do nothing —
You’ve chosen a side.

Still… even in betrayal, God promises hope.
He will restore. He will make it right.

Because He never overlooks evil —
And never forgets His people.

And while pride falls…God lifts up the humble.
