Chant For The Healers Of The New Age

Like many, I find myself drawn to the conversations of Neil deGrasse Tyson. One video caught me:
“The collapse of civilization is not the end—it is the birth of a new humanity.”
As a poet and lyricist, I felt that. Deep in the bones.
Though I am old, and these may be among the final transmissions from the Joe Pegasus Band, I needed to answer the call—not as a founder of the future, but as its herald.
This chant is not a claim. It’s a reach.
A whisper into the ruins, a signal for the Healers yet to rise.
I offer it as John the Baptist did—voicing what must come, even if I do not walk with it.
The song, the image, the fading captions… they speak beyond me.
