35 Remington: Homemade Medium Game Rifle

This is another one of my homemade guns. I built this gun about three years ago. This single shot bolt-action rifle is chambered in 35 Remington and was designed and built specifically as a medium game hunting rifle. I had read about and heard about the 35 Remington round all my life and I had heard it was an excellent brush gun for deer and pigs. The stock has a boiled linseed finish on an ebonized Walnut stock. I wanted a black on black look for hunting purposes. The stock has a grind to fit Pachmayr buttpad and uses modified Remington 700 iron sights. The stock has a lower comb for iron sight shooting. The barrel is 21" long and was made from a Shilen barrel blank (1:14 twist). It has two forward locking lugs, an extractor and uses a unique trigger mechanism inside a homemade trigger housing. The outside coating is 44/40 cold gun blue. I made a paracord sling to go with this gun. I have several other homemade guns, if this is something you like please let me know and I will make more videos. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions. Thanks, be safe and God bless.
