Continuing in KINGDOM UNDERSTANDINGโ€ฆ Israelโ€™s Earthly Millennial Kingdom
See Malachi 3:1-5 which speaks of the Return of Christ and the Millennial Restoration of Israelโ€ฆ โ€œBehold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refinerโ€™s fire, and like fullersโ€™ soap: and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years. And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.โ€

Jesus came first incarnate as the โ€˜Son of Manโ€™ to model the way for man to follow back unto the Father through mercy and grace. He did not fulfill these Words of Judgement noted above in His first coming. He is coming back again soon the second time, and that as โ€œa refinerโ€™s fire.โ€ And when He does, He will fulfill these Words in Malachi. Then He will build again the Temple in Israel (described by Ezekiel) and restore its animal sacrifices, and worship will again ascend from there unto God, as it was of old.

Seeing Christโ€™s Millennial Kingdom as having now come, how are we to understand Israelโ€™s reinstituting of the Temple and Law of Moses and the blood sacrifices prophesied by Ezekiel in the light of the New Testament words of Romans 10:4 and Romans 8:3?โ€ฆ โ€œFor Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.โ€ Andโ€ฆ โ€œFor what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the fleshโ€ฆโ€ Religious reasoning has caused many denominations to refute these Millennial offerings as being literal because they cannot reconcile how there will be sacrifical offerings once again in a future Temple in light of Christโ€™s ultimate Blood offering. This is explained in this lesson, but note that Romans 10:4 says that โ€œโ€ฆChrist is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth,โ€ which means His Atonement has made an end of the Law as a means of attaining righteousness, not that there will be no more future laws of Moses observed, as seen in much prophecy about the Millennial Kingdom.)
The Dispensation wherein the promises to Abraham and his seed were given (4000 years ago) was followed by the Dispensation of the instructive Law of Moses to his seed (500 years later/3500 years ago) until his โ€˜Seedโ€™ of promise, Jesusโ€™ First Coming (1500 years later/2000 years ago). Followed by this present Dispensation of Grace and Mercy (now 2000 years long) while we await His Second Coming, which immediately afterwards will be followed by the 1000-year-long Dispensation of His Kingdom of righteousness and justice administrated on the Earth according to the Law of Moses once again (with some modifications, particularly in the rituals and offerings).
The Law of Moses and its sacrificial offerings was, in its appointed Dispensation of 1500 years; from the time of Israel being called out of Egypt up until the First Coming of Jesus, and continued for 40 years, even after His one-time offering of Himself. (Note Paulโ€™s having no conflict in offerings at the Temple for himself and others {seen in Acts 21}, in spite of his God-inspired stance against the thinking that keeping of the Law Moses has any value against resisting the sin nature/flesh (sensual body and unrenewed mind) unto transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit into Christlikeness. (Galatians 3) He knew that the Law of Moses was ineffective to produce its portrayed God-like personal....
