The man-made starvation in Gaza has sparked protests across the world.

In New York, members of the 'Palestinian Youth Movement' gathered outside the United Nations headquarters and then Times Square.

They demanded an end to Israel's blockade of food and aid into the Gaza Strip.

In the UK, more than 220 MP's have signed a letter, urging Prime Minister Keir Starmer to recognize a Palestinian state.

That's more than a third of all the MP's from nine parties backing the call - most of them are from the ruling Labor party.

Protesters rallied at Downing Street, calling on the government to use its influence to end Israel's blockade and its war on Gaza.

More than 200 lawmakers in the United Kingdom have called on the British government to recognize a Palestinian state, as pressure mounts on Prime Minister Keir Starmer to take concrete action amid Israel’s war on Gaza.

Some 221 MP's from across the political spectrum signed an open letter on Friday calling on Starmer’s Labour government to recognize a Palestinian state in advance of a United Nations conference on Palestine next week.
