A Quick Tour of My Laundry Area-Date: 11/19/2020

I just thought you would like to see what my laundry area looked like since I've been making some videos to show you how to use the washer and how the various wash cycles and options operate. After I'm finished with the series on the front load washer, I will try to do some videos about the pedestal washer and the dryer. It is the matching dryer that went along with the washer. I might do a couple videos with my old machines for you too.

We kept the old washer and dryer because it still works well enough to wash things like rags, bathroom and kitchen rugs and other such items that I don't really want to put into my new washers and dryer at this point. If I do a small load in my pedestal washer only, I usually use the old dryer since it is small and uses on natural gas. My new dryer is electric. We got the electric model because we rent this place we are in right now and because the gas model is $100.00 more. Plus if we end up moving, not all places are set up for a natural gas dryer. If we owned the place, we may have gotten the gas model because they are cheaper to run. We actually did have 2 washers and 2 dryers. We were a family of 7 living here which consisted of 5 women and 2 guys. We needed 2 machines to be able to keep up. The new electric dryer replaced the old one which was the same model as the old gas dryer we still have. My 4 girls have since grown up and moved out.

Please keep in mind the reason why things are set up the way they are is this is an old house that was built back in 1916 that we currently rent. So we are limited in what we can do to improve things which is one reason why we can't have the washers and dryers together. We have been thinking about trying to buy it and stay here for as long as possible.
