Filling The Pond

This Video covers; Measuring How many gallons your pond has with Water Meter. Its importance to be able to measure for Medication / De-chlorine applications. Building your pond with a 'high point' in the middle, that way you can clean one side while the fish are in the other side. Importance of having Power source (home socket/solar power station), pump and filter box in close proximity to one another. Build with 'Claw' for a unique current. Snake Lizard, if you've never seen one, Wow. Waiting for trees to grow, stressing/obtaining 80 percent shade. Or, using UV lights (30 watts)to curtail algae growth. Having an 'over-flow pipe' so as not to flood pond, and having fish floating down the gutter. Water Meter measured 863 gallons in main with an additional 109 for upper filtration boxes. Each Filter tank/spicket can drain off sedimentation having a 'leach line' below (Elephant Ear). Adding 'smooth river rock to 'babbling brook.' Importance of doing a 'dry pour' for a temporary concrete fill.
This approach may not be perfect but is functional in terms of a having a Solar pond, having to supplement it with the main power electricity on cloudy days. Watch the video for more information on the above topics.
