This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to this lyric video.

This song is called "Leslie," and it was written about a woman I met many years ago. The song explains the story, but this was around the time that the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis was happening.

I still remember her name, her face, and her attire. Looking back on it still fills me with sorrow for her circumstances, and I know there are many out there who have lived, and still live, similar lives.

Everyone has a crutch that they fall back on during times of heightened stress and great uncertainty, but there is help out there for us... even when we hit rock-bottom. We don't have to struggle alone. The world still has people willing to help us up, even if they are few and far between.

And if we can't find someone willing to help us up, then maybe we need to consider being one of those people the world needs the most... A real Christian.
