The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini refused to devote a few minutes to the father of the deceased Israeli hostage.

This was reported by Israeli journalist Antonia Yamin, who works in Germany.

The families of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas are currently at the Munich Security Conference. Before a meeting with the German Foreign Minister (UNRWA's largest donor), they noticed Lazzarini leaving the ministry.

Recent reports indicate that Saudi Arabia is indeed making the ending of Hamas rule in Gaza and the involvement of the Palestinian Authority as a significant condition for resuming normalization talks with Israel.

A Saudi source close to the Royal Court has stated that "as long as Hamas is involved in managing the Gaza Strip, 'the job isn't done. Without removing Hamas, there will be no peace.'" This suggests that the Saudis view the complete removal of Hamas from power in Gaza as a prerequisite for any normalization agreement.

Beyond this, Saudi Arabia has consistently maintained that a clear pathway to a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital is a fundamental condition for establishing diplomatic relations with Israel. This has been a long-standing position, reinforced since the October 2023 conflict.

It's not simply about Israel removing Hamas as a negotiating requirement in the immediate sense of a ceasefire deal, but rather a fundamental condition for Saudi Arabia to move forward with a broader normalization agreement with Israel.

It is a fact that most of the jihadi related violence and Hamas are the result of funding by Saudi and their chums in OPEC and OIC, with the treasure amassed from entire rest of the world by mercilessly and unjustifiably hiking the oil price.

If they want world peace, OPEC should cut down oil price by half, at least. They have nothing to lose. Money is rotting and being eaten by moths, rodents and termites in their Treasury.
