In recent years, several serious incidents have taken place at Walmart locations:
Virginia, 2022: A night shift employee was involved in an incident that tragically resulted in the loss of six lives.
El Paso, Texas, 2019: A highly tragic event resulted in 23 lives lost.
Colorado, 2017: Three customers lost their lives after an unexpected incident at a Walmart in Thornton.
On July 26, 2025, in Traverse City, Michigan – a 42-year-old man attacked multiple people inside a Walmart, leaving 11 injured.
