I Choose to Believe

They told me I couldn’t, they laughed when I tried,
But I kept on walking, with fire in my eyes.
Every bruise, every fall, made me stronger inside,
Now I’m standing tall, with nothing to hide.

Even when the nights got cold,
Even when I lost control,
There was something deep in me—
A quiet voice that whispered free…

I choose to believe, in the power I hold,
In dreams that don’t die, in stories untold.
I choose to believe, when the light disappears,
That hope will return and silence my fears.
No matter how dark the road may be—
I choose to believe.

I’ve heard all the reasons, I’ve faced all the doubt,
But courage is louder than fear screaming loud.
With each step I take, I’m closer to me,
And the life that I know I was born to see.

Even when the skies turned grey,
I found the strength to stay—
'Cause somewhere inside this heart of mine,
A star keeps burning all the time…

I choose to believe, in the rise after fall,
In voices that tremble, still standing tall.
I choose to believe, through sorrow and ache,
That every new dawn is mine to remake.
Even when no one stands with me—
I choose to believe.

Believe in the tears that shaped who we are,
Believe in the wounds that became our stars.
Believe in the fall, in the climb, in the flame—
'Cause none of it ever was done in vain.

I choose to believe, in the fight and the fire,
In quiet resilience, in reckless desire.
I choose to believe, and I won’t let go,
'Cause this heart still knows what it knows.
Even when the world stops and grieves—
I breathe, I rise… I believe.
