CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials have released more information about Saturday's deadly crash on Interstate 485 that killed six people and left one survivor.

The crash happened at 11:06 a.m. on I-485 at Walkers Ferry Road when two cars became trapped under a tractor-trailer, according to the Steele Creek Fire Department. One person survived the crash and was taken to the hospital. Six people died at the scene.
