I’ve been trying to unpack why people are like this and it always comes back to the fact that they are hurt inside and separate from God.

She sees victimhood everywhere because she considers herself a victim. She doesn’t love herself so she clings to the victimhood because it allows other people in the same mindset to shower her with some sort of attention she’s seeking - some affirmation she is right- which in turn makes her think she is loved.

It all boils down to wanting to be loved, but she’s going to have to love God and herself for that.
