My way of background, during my career, I have published five books that are available on Amazon. One is entitled The Young Professional, A Real World Survival Guide for the New College Graduate. Also, I am a U.S. and Canadian lawyer practicing law at Pace Law Firm in Toronto, and in my career, I have helped over 10,000 clients with various legal problems. It was there that I noticed that young people entering the work world tended to face one or more of three common problems: Money, Time or Balance. These are themes I touch on in my book and in helping young people.
Previously, I have lived and practiced law in Los Angeles for ten years and in New York for five years. I am also a former U.N. correspondent who worked in New York and wrote articles on immigration and human rights for Southam News Services of Canada and other media outlets elsewhere. I am a professional speaker and a Distinguished Toastmaster. I am also a Senior Advisor to the Centre for Eastern European Democracy. In addition, I have been a Forbes contributor for over ten years, and over one million readers have read my articles on immigration.
My life's journey began in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where I was born and raised. I've since split my time equally between Canada and the United States, currently residing in Toronto with my spouse, Ann. We are proud parents of two adult children and doting grandparents to two grandchildren.
