Cajun Dogs with Bruce Mitchell
Join the Alligator Man as he fires up the griddle for some next level Cajun hot dogs, stacked with the holy trinity, melty cheese, gator pickles, and all the flavor you can handle. What do you put on your dogs?

Ingredients
4 beef hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or canola)
1 cup of the holy trinity (diced onions, bell peppers, celery)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup Gator pickles (or any spicy-sweet pickles)
Yellow mustard
Ketchup
Cajun seasoning
Directions
1. Get your surface hot and drizzle on the oil. Spread it around good.
2. Throw those hot dogs down and let 'em roll back and forth until they get that golden tan. You want a little char for that extra flavor.
3. On the side of the griddle, toss down your diced onions, peppers, and celery. Let that sizzle until soft and aromatic. Add a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning if you're feeling bold.
4. Form little piles of shredded cheese on the griddle. Let it melt into crispy-edged circles. This is your cheesy topping with a little flair.
5. Toast your buns if you want that crunch. Lay in your hot dog, then stack on that holy trinity mix. Slide a melted cheese crisp on top.
6. Add a few slices of Gator pickles for sweet heat. Drizzle on mustard. Ketchup if you’re like the Alligator Man’s grandson.
7. Plate those beauties and dig in. Ain’t nothing regular about these dogs.
