ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE & WAR - RIGHT? The massive mushroom cloud hasn't even begun to dissipate over the weekend's colossal data breach on the Tea Dating App, designed by a San Francisco software product developer who wanted to protect women after his mother had a few hair raising experiences of her own in our Brave New World of dating apps. The Tea app, as it's often referred to, is a women's only app, where the ladies can anonymously compare notes on the men they're interested in seeing. The data breach however changed all that, with over 70K state ID photos identifying the ladies to the general public - many of them with their place of residence being clearly marked on a countrywide map(!) has made the rounds on social media in the past 48 hours. I knew it wouldn't long before the ladies themselves would be evaluated - several more notable commentators already have weighed in - and the judgments weren't very kind. Recently, your correspondent had on as a special guest, one Prof. Mads Larsen, out of the University of Oslo. His recent paper on "Insings", deals with what tonight's show will revisit: That of the "49er" - a woman who is a 4 but think she's a 9 because she was able to spend a night with him. Could the Tea app - originally designed to keep women safe from predators, abusers, stalkers and scammers, actually being used by 4s who were, in a word, "pumped and dumped" by 9s? We're gonna talk about it TONIGHT ONLY ON RUMBLE!
