On the fiftieth day of the Steelcock Festival in 1969, Ben Dover had returned from the hospital after an annoying bout of delirium. He had been sober two whole days at this point, and was ready to play guitar again.

His pet monkey who had been missing for almost a week miraculously returned the same day Ben returned and besides minor and treatable STDs he was also in good shape. Where the monkey had been would never be known.

It was on this special day that Loretta Tease decided to play a song she had written while the festival went on. It was risky, perhaps the audience wouldn't understand it, but all fears went away as the chorus swept over the crowd. It was a crowd favorite, and Loretta performed it daily for the remaining three months of the festival.
