The View becomes the latest victim of progressive shows being put on ice. After an endless barrage of Orange Man Bad commentary, the hen house has been shut for month or longer, joining Stephen Colbert and The Late Show in the dustbin of media jettisoning progressive ideology long after it's expiration date.

Who knew that berating half the prospective audience for years would eventually be bad for business?
