In "Stiff Upper Lip: Secrets, Crimes and the Schooling of a Ruling Class", journalist Alex Renton — himself a product of these schools — exposes the emotional cost, the silence, and sometimes the violence, that shaped generations of boys into men… and rulers.

In this video, I’ll be reading selected excerpts from the book, reflecting on the hidden curriculum of British public schools — one built on hierarchy, repression, and survival.
