MZTV 1786: SECTS—If You Can't Blind Them With Science, Baffle Them With Bulls**t

The way Eternal Torment and Free Will scholars deal with verses they don’t like—such as first Timothy 4:10, stating that God is the Savior of all humanity, or Ephesians 1:11, stating that God is operating all things after the council of His own will—they turn on the theological fog machine. They talk and talk and talk over and around the simple verse. Distracting verbiage is the nature of their game, burying the simplicity of God beneath the duplicity of man.

The Tories do the same thing with the plain and simple statements in John concerning Christ's preexistence. Instead of simply believing the verse, they weave a lengthy theological tale that answers nothing and enlightens no one.

Here in this edition of MZTV is an example of the Tory (Trinity Over Reactor) who obfuscates the most syllabically, who switches on the fog machine with a hard turn of the wrist: the Pirate, Mark Haukaas. He is my brother, and I love him—but I sure don’t like the way he dodges plain verses he doesn't like.
