Fighting foreign interference or domestic opposition?

🇨🇦 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇦🇺 | The EUDS Special Committee (EUropean Democracy Shield) is currently dealing with the dangers of disinformation, propaganda & hybrid threats from Russia. A colorful mix of “experts” was invited:

NGOs such as Alliance4Europe & Bellingcat (partly funded by George Soros Open Society Foundations & the NED), the Swedish Psychological Defense Agency (offshoot of the Ministry of Defense) and the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (“Hybrid COE” for short - working under the auspices of the EU & NATO) unanimously claim to want to strengthen the population's resistance to disinformation.

Since the biggest operator of disinformation & censorship is the EU itself, not only since Covid-19, I asked the representative of „Hybrid COE“ how to prevent the fight against disinformation from actually becoming a fight of governments against their own critical citizens.
