Spyware - Pegasus & Paragon just the tip of the iceberg

🇨🇦🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺 | In 2021, the scandal surrounding the Israeli spying software ‘Pegasus’ had already caused quite a stir in the EU. Numerous governments had secretly used the software for years to monitor activists or members of the opposition.

The German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the German foreign intelligence service BND are also said to be using a variant of the Pegasus software.

At the beginning of this year, the scenario was repeated in Italy with spyware from the US-Israeli company ‘Paragon’. The EU institutions have nothing to counter this. They are either helpless or unwilling, or both!
