Trump: "If you don't get the curve, Europe will soon no longer exist"

The US President was asked by a reporter about the "crisis with the small boats" during his visit to Scotland on Monday. This refers to the crossing of the English Channel by illegal immigrants coming from France.

Trump said: "If you stop immigration and stop the wrong people, I tip my hat to you." He added: "However, I don't know anything about the boats, and whether they are loaded with bad people – but they usually are – because other countries don't send their best, but people they don't want. They are not stupid."

He also warned that Europe risks losing its identity if it does not tighten its border controls. "Europe today is a very different place than five or ten years ago. You have to get the curve. If you don't, the Europe as we know it will no longer exist – and that must not happen," the US President warned.
