Scrumptious moist Cherry Muffin Recipe

If you have fresh Cherries, try this moist and scrumptious Cherry Muffin Recipe. Great for Brunch, Picnic or a Potluck.

Cherry Muffins
Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups fresh Cherries, pitted/chopped
1-3/4 cups Flour
1/2 cup Butter, soft
3/4 cup Sugar
2 Eggs, roomtemp
1 tsp Vanilla
5 oz. Greek Yogurt
1-1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
Turbinado Sugar, to sprinkle

Preheat Oven 425°F
Place Muffin Liners in Tin.
Combine Flour, Baking Soda, Salt & Baking Powder, whisk well & set aside.
Cream together Butter & Sugar.
Add Eggs one at a time, Vanilla & Greek Yogurt.
Scrape down sides of bowl.
Incorporate Flour Mixture in batches.
Fold in Cherries.
Fill Muffin Liners equally with Batter.
Sprinkle lightly with Turbinado Sugar.
Bake for 5 Minutes, lower Temperature to 375°F and continue baking until tester comes out clean, 18-20 Minutes.
Rest Muffins 2 Minutes in Tin.
Cool completely on Wire Rack.
