Creator Week days 5,6 & 7

The end of a long work week-

More 3's & 7's
and 7's and 3's

God has no limit, he can play with these things at whim. He tells us everything. The beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. Our Lord is not trying to trick us. Prayers are not spells. Charms and crosses are not needed. The only thing needed is all our heart, all our spirit, and all our soul.

He doesn't sugar-coat things. He tells us straight up what is what. All of his servants had problems of one sort or another - just like you and I.

There is no other being that ever said it would die for me to make my rebellious spirit right. The Lord did not come for the righteous, but to call sinners to repentance. Luckily I am in that camp. For all my discipline I received in the military. All the strength I had gained in my life -
I was completely undone, and powerless against alcoholism and drug addiction. I failed getting sober over and over again - until I COMPLETELY surrendered and said to God -ok, you have to do this. And I followed after Him.

And he did.
But even after that my addictions just changed forms - video games and online gaming. Women. Etc. My addiction was an addiction to THE WORLD. Getting a good job, making money. I want this, this, and this.
There were other addictions I had to conquer or let go, more subtle. The GLARING ones are easy to recognize - it's the little easy ones which (easy to do), with seemingly NO ramifications which can be also hard to break. The world comes at us from a million different angles.
It doesn't need us to turn to satanism or something so blatant.
It just needs to make us step away from the Word of God and be ineffectual.
At least for me.

May He keep us on the narrow path to Him
