Garden Check In

Checking on what is growing and what is not.

Looks like the zucchini and the squash are done. Pumpkin doesn't look too good either, but there is one. I've harvestd several mini pumpkins already. Lots of melons, watermelons, tomatoes, carrots and beans. Okra is starting to get tall and plenty of cucumbers. Those are a favorite with the hens. Corn is starting to get big, not sure how sweet peppers are doing since haven't seen any blossoms. I can't pick the peaches fast enough, but they are delicious. I did, however, find a worm in a couple but otherwise will put netting on the branches next year. Strawberries are making progress, sure would like to see a few blossoms on them too.

The chickens are ready to get in there and pillage but they will have to wait until fall.

All in all I think most things are doing well. We have not had a rain for several days and my water barrels are getting low. Please send rain, but not too much.
