“Mein größter Kampf” is a 2021 German-language documentary that follows Helko Sepp, a 47-year-old Berlin husband and father. After a routine check-up he received the AstraZeneca COVID shot and within days developed massive headaches, then cerebral venous sinus thrombosis—one of the rare but well-documented clotting disorders linked to the adenoviral vaccines. The film is shot almost entirely inside Charité Hospital and the family’s apartment; it mixes shaky handheld footage from Helko’s phone with quiet interviews of his wife and teenage son as they watch him fight strokes, partial blindness, and memory loss.
The documentary never names the vaccine in the narration (it just says “the injection”), but the dates, symptoms, and Charité’s own press releases make it clear it’s AstraZeneca. German mainstream outlets ignored it; it premiered on Odysee and circulated on Telegram channels. The director, freelance journalist Jörg Rehberg, self-funded it—he says he made it because “ARD and ZDF refused to air a single story about vaccine-injured Germans.” Critics called it “antivax propaganda”; viewers injured by the shot used it as proof the injuries were real. The film ends with Helko learning to walk again and a title card noting he’s now classified as 80 % disabled and receives a small federal injury stipend.
